During this trip, I was able to reconnect with a very dear and old friend, Jolinda. Jolinda and I became best friends on my 1st day at a new school, in 5th grade. We remained best friends until well after high school. Life then got in the way and we lost touch for a bit - but now we are reconnecting and loving it!! This is her youngest daughter, Ally. It was beautiful to watch our girls form a friendship with each other!!
After Greg left to go back to Phoenix, Sydney and I drove down to Mankato and spent a couple of extra days. This picture was taken at Nikki's house. A few of my girlfriends from Mankato all met at Nikki's house on Friday night to reconnect. We brought our daughters with and they all met and played together for the first time. It was so cool to see our kids play together!! In this picture they are making homes for their new fire fly friends that they captured. This was the first time Sydney had ever seen one!! It was so fun watching her catch them - brought back lots of memories of when I was young and used to catch them.
